Hi. I hope life has been good to you so far. This blog was originally devoted to stuff about my impending fatherhood, much of it written to the kid-to-be, Pickle. Fatherhood has been enough of a time and energy commitment that there was a hiatus from about month three to month thirteen. My increased involvement with my Unitarian church has inspired me to resuscitate it to record some of my thoughts about philosophy, ethics, faith, metaphysics, morality, parenting, atheism, and the detritus of a rather full daily life.
In addition to being a dad, I am also a graduate student studying toward my PhD in Economics at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.
