and in the interest of reviving my blog, i’m posting about it. we stood in line for about an hour, half of it outside, and all of it worthwhile. i had to check and recheck my selection on the electronic contraption to make sure i wasn’t mistakenly making the wrong decision–i blame it on the hormones that race through you when you make a big decision–but sure enough, diebold had accurately recorded my intentions as far as i could tell (although I abstained from a few of the downticket votes for judges where I truly had no information upon which to base my decision–how do other people deal with those?)
